You could try removeing it before re-installation. Post by Jamie OConnell on Nov 1 st, 2001, 9:19amĪnother thing to check is that MYokeNT.dll exists in the WinNT\System32 directory, has size 29,696 bytes, and shows version 1.70.0.017. I just couldn't get the Properties to work. In fact, that is where I was able to see it listed. Thanks for the ideas, but I'm pretty sure I added it under Sound, video and game controllers. Post by Steven_Bell on Nov 1 st, 2001, 12:36am Have you installed Service Pack 2 for Win 2000? The only time the config dialog failed for me was when I didn't choose " Sound, video and game controllers" in the Add New Hardware applet, but you say that you've followed the pictures exactly, so that wouldn't be a factor. I don't think that WDM would have any effect on this, but anything is possible :(. Post by Jamie OConnell on Oct 31 st, 2001, 10:11pm I don't think this has anything to do with the limited number of ports supported by WDM, right? Just to make sure, I did check and it is set for "warn".
M-Audio doesn't have signed drivers either, so I'm used to the warning. Post by Steven_Bell on Oct 29 th, 2001, 12:01am In Control Panel | System | Hardware |, make sure that File System Verification is set to Warn or Ignore, and not Block ) The only other thing I can think of is to make sure that you are not blocking unsigned drivers. Post by Jamie OConnell on Oct 28 th, 2001, 9:35pm I'm going to try disabling the MIDI on the 1010's and see if that helps. I also have two delta 1010's that have MIDI devices. Yes, I'm logged on as Administrator, so it's not that. Post by Steven_Bell on Oct 26 th, 2001, 12:42pm Do you have other MIDI devices installed on the machine? ? Make sure you are installing with Administrator priveleges, and try re-installation. That would indicate installation failure. It is not a good sign that the settings box did not appear. Is it necessary to start with that version and then upgrade to this one?ĭo you have any suggestions as to what I can try? This is my first installation of the product so I did not have to un-install the previous version. No drivers are installed for this device.
Under MIDI Yoke NT Driver properties (General): I went into Control Panel and can see it there with the rest of the audio hardware, but it is not shown on the list of MIDI devices under the Audio tab. I rebooted, but when I look for the device in SONAR, MIDI Ox or AutoTune 3, it does not appear in the drop-down list. Installing under W2K seems pretty straight-forward and as far as I can tell went just like the instructions (except the settings box did not come up).
